E-Mail: jmdvorak@sbslaw.net Julia Dvorak was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Northern State University. She received her JD from the University of South Dakota School of Law, graduating in the top 10% of her class. While at law school, she also served as Editor-in-Chief of the South Dakota Law Review. She is a published author in the national publication, "For the Defense." She has also written articles for the South Dakota Law Review and the South Dakota Defense Lawyers Association Newsletter. Julia was admitted to the South Dakota Bar and the U.S. District Court of South Dakota in 2000. She was admitted to the North Dakota Bar in 2001, and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in 2002. She is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota, and serves on its Continuing Legal Education Committee. She is also a member of the Brown County Bar Association, the South Dakota Defense Lawyers Association, the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association. Julia is also active in various civic and charitable organizations and the Defense Research Institute. Her practice areas include Civil Litigation, Adoption, Administrative Law, and the General Practice. |
