E-Mail: jmdvorak@sbslaw.net Julie Dvorak was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern State University. She received her JD from the University of South Dakota School of Law, graduating in the top 10% of her class. While at law school, she also served as Editor-in-Chief of the South Dakota Law Review. She is a published author in the national publication, "For the Defense." She has also written articles for the South Dakota Law Review and the South Dakota Defense Lawyers Association Newsletter. Julie was admitted to the South Dakota Bar in 2000, the North Dakota bard in 2001, and the Montana State Bar in 2003. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts of those states and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota, and serves as the chairperson of its Continuing Legal Education Committee. She is also a member of the Brown County Bar Association, the South Dakota Defense Lawyers Association, and DRI. Julie is also active in various civic and charitable organizations. Her practice areas include Civil Litigation, Adoption, and General Practice. |
