E-Mail: jsveen@sbslaw.net Jeffrey T. Sveen has been a lawyer with the Siegel, Barnett & Schutz, L.L.P. law firm since 1979. Jeff's areas of practice are personal injury, civil litigation, agricultural law, and corporate law. Jeff received his Juris Doctor degree in 1979 from the University of South Dakota School of Law where he was a member of the Board of Editors of the Law Review. He is admitted to the South Dakota State and Federal Courts, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Claims Court, and the United States Tax Court. Jeff has been very active in numerous legal activities including President of the South Dakota State Bar Association for the year 2000-2001. He has been active as chairman of numerous committees, as well as an active member of the South Dakota Trial Lawyers, serving on both the Bar Commissioners of the State Bar and on the Board of Directors for the South Dakota Trail Lawyers Association. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the A.L.P.S. (Attorney Liability Protection Society). Jeff is also a member of the ABA Lawyers-Pilots Association, and is active in many community and statewide organizations including Past President of the Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce. |
